Devil's Advocate is a strategic card game where you steal cards and bet on your Opponent's hand

- Pair (2 cards of the same rank) == scores for 0
- Two Pair (2 pairs scored in the same pile) == scores for -10
- Three of a Kind (3 cards of the same rank) == scores for -10
- Flush (4 cards of the same suit) == -10
- 4 of a kind (4 cards of the same rank) == -20
- Devil Pair(Devil card played with any other card) == scores the paired card at face value for your opponent
- Devil flush (A flush containing a Devil of the same suit) == scores all 3 other cards at face value or your opponent
- 4 Devils == ???

It’s a really lovely game, and the concept is brilliant, but the tutorial felt too long and tedious; it would have been better to present it contextually during the game itself.
I agree wholeheartedly. I made the mistake of pushing the tutorial to the very end, and didn't have time to make it interactive.
I figured overexplaining would be preferable to not explaining enough, and added the "yap alert" button as a band-aid fix
The tutorial absolutely needs a rework, and it will be the first thing I update when the game jam is over
